Welcome!
I'm Kim Emig, a US-born radio astronomer. I am an Assistant Scientist at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. With the North American ALMA Science Center, I am helping to commission the Wideband Sensitivity Upgrade of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). My research focuses on the interstellar medium and its coupling to star formation in galaxy evolution. I am pioneering the use of radio recombination line observations in distant galaxies and at low-frequencies using next generation radio facilities!
